Comment by Mrs Donna Johnson on January 7, 2013 at 10:13pm Brilliant !!! this young lady deserves support for her courage to speak out, god bless her as women everywhere have the right to freedom and free speech regardless of religion / beliefs.
May she continue to thrive and get better here, as Sylvia Doughty pointed out her father has a position within the Pakistani Consulate in Birmingham. God bless her and her family and hope they enjoy their time here in the UK experiencing the life that they should be living in their native Pakistan but, can't due to it's outdated laws etc especially those relating to women!!,
Comment by Kathy Rosario on January 6, 2013 at 8:06pm Wonderful choice Michael!! Women here in our country need to listen up and realize some of our politicians have some very close beliefs as to those in Malala's country. For example....we are being told a woman can STOP a pregnancy from occurring after a "legitimate" RAPE!!!! Shameful behavior from a senator in our country in 2102 (when he made the STUPID comment!!!) Women everywhere must protect themselves and each other. We can all move forward with the help of Malala and bless our youth who move from their untainted hearts and souls for they truly are our future!!! The dinosaurs like that senator will eventually become extinct. Thank you Michael for your infinite compassion for women and children who often have no voice.....even in our "modern" country.

Comment by Sharonrose Arciszewski-Armstrong on January 5, 2013 at 3:23am My heart goes out to this very strong , independent, worldly young lady. Her life surrounded by the dangerous actions of torment beliefs. Her natural motives is to share wisdom. . Her right in some countries to speak what is justice should be, but she was struck down, a sabotage to her life. A life that is so precious May she be able to heal , and may her journey continue, but not with her life in jeopardy. What she wants to accomplish is like starting a new section of an old centuries scores of writings in that regional place; religion-law. .May she find peace and have the ability to work along side women that need the love and care, and where she will be excepted and loved for her generous/heroic deeds. And to rethink how she can perhaps accomplish some of her faith. (maybe) I pray for her safety.
